FP86 Felted Lion Portrait (13x16) Grey w/Crown | Suri Alpaca Fiber Art

This lion portrait features natural dark grey Suri Alpaca fiber. The piece highlights the unique locks that are a trademark of Suri alpaca fleece. I created the portrait by needle felting grey, black, and white fiber. This king of the jungle sports a colorful headdress. Only the crown jewels and the eyes are from dyed fiber. The finished product is mounted on a black felt fabric background inside a black frame (there is no glass). The frame measures 13 x 16" and includes a wire for hanging.
