FP89 Felted Lion Portrait (13x16) Fawn-Black Side | Suri Alpaca Fiber Art

This lion portrait features natural Suri Alpaca fiber. The original artwork includes fiber from my own farm-raised Suri Alpaca herd. The piece highlights the unique locks that are a trademark of Suri alpaca fleece. I created this lion portrait by needle felting dark fawn and black fiber for a rich finished look. The piece is accented with white and grey fiber (only the eyes are from dyed roving). The artwork is mounted on a black felt fabric background inside a black frame (there is no glass). The frame measures 13 x 16" and includes a wire for hanging.
