FP94 Felted Lion Portrait w/Beads Red (12x15) | Suri Alpaca Fiber Art

This felted Lion portrait features natural Suri Alpaca fiber from my own farm-raised Suri Alpaca herd. The artwork highlights the unique locks that are a trademark of Suri alpaca fleece. I created this lion by needle felting beige, brown, white, and fawn fiber with grey and black accents. The piece includes alpaca yarn, feathers, decorative beads, and a small amount of dyed fiber.  The finished product is mounted on a black felt fabric background inside a wood slat frame (there is no glass). The frame measures 11.75 x 14.75" and includes a wire for hanging.
