Each piece is coated with locally sourced beeswax to protect it. -- SIZE --The gap from the wall is approximately 2.25". When picking the size, please know that the listed size is approximately* end to end length give or take 1/4" or so either direction, NOT the length of the area where you hang towels. The screw holes are 1" shorter than the overall length and the usable area is about 3 inches shorter than the end to end length.-- FINISHING AND TEXTURE -- There are 3 finishes, DARKENED - which is close to a black color.
