Theatrics Camo Jacket

I found this t-shirt with the theatre/ballet theme on a street vintage sale and thought the colors and the naivete of it all would look great on camouflage. I collaged those pieces with reclaimed flowers cut from a dress, and an earthy foliage cut from a top. To add balance to the whole look, I added the sleeves cut from a blouse, and of course the neon green embroidery thread to highlight the whole piece. It was hand-embroidered by Paula Rivera during 34 hours of craftwomanship in Medellin, Colombia. All of my pieces are one-of-a-kind, designed by repurposing materials and supporting craftwomanship.
