Abstract Sake Set

Ceramic sake set with 1 vessel and 2 cups Made from clay harvested in mountains north of Hita that is ground into powder using karausu mills  Made as part of a nearly 300 year old traditional artisan craft Sold as a set Handmade by generational craftsmen in the region of Kyushu, Japan   Onta Kiln (Oita Prefecture)  Dating back almost 300 years, the Onta Kiln is one of the oldest in Kyushu, located in the remote mountains north of the town of Hita. In a small settlement of only 9 families –all pottery craftsmen– big jars with bright colorful glazes, plates with traditional brushed designs, and various tablewares are produced in a community kiln.
