This handmade 108 natural stone Mala is made on The Big Island of Hawaii with Botswana Agate for the strand. The Mala is finished with an Amethyst Guru bead and a beaded tassel.  Botswana Agate is considered an uplifting stone. This stone is believed to aid the wearer in defeating self destructive habits. The Guru Bead is Amethyst and it is considered the great healer of mind and body. It is all considered the stone of sobriety. It is supposed to shield from negative influences. In Greek times they used to make goblets for drinking wine out of it. This Mala is approximately 22 inches in length from Tassel to the stones at the back of the strand. The strand beads are approximately 8mm.  All of our Mala are hand-knotted between each bead.
