Winter Green Moscow

Poecilia Reticulata - wintergreen moscow guppies. Their name was inspired by the splendor of our native evergreen trees surrounded by a dark mountain valleys. Males mature to 2 inches. Depending on the lighting, Wintergreen Moscows show a spectacular array of colors ranging from bright green to dark blue. This variety makes them a mesmerizing fish to watch swim through shade and light, but is never perfectly captured in a still image. These beautiful colors fade into a black outlined tail with a picturesque set of darkened pectoral and gorgeous elongated dorsal fins. Females mature to 2.5 inches by approximately 6 months and have a sleek, dark-gray body with semi-dark dorsal and pectoral fins. Graceful and peaceful, these fish are perfect for the top of your aquascape. Juveniles now, these fish will mature and grow out in color and size after you have received them.
