Sunflower Guppy
Poecilia Reticulata - sunflower guppies This is a beautiful GLA Original line from 2019. The name “Sunflower” fits this guppy perfectly! While the strikingly bright yellow and orange colors of the sires remind us of it’s bright and sunny petals. It is beautiful to see a light shining behind them, because it makes their fins and tail look just like a ray of sunshine. Now match this with their iridescent emerald heads and matching pelvic fins, gorgeous. You can notice in the photos these fish will show brightly gold from one angle and then a brilliant white from another. Males mature to 2 inches and feature elegant orange delta tails and extended dorsal fins, which transition to a brilliant yellow at their base. Females mature to 2.5 inches and have silver bodies that fade to black at the base of their tails. A few females are now showing yellow in their tails and dorsal as well as an iridescent stripe on their sides. This is something we are breeding for but have not yet achi
