Neo-soul pioneer D'Angelo returns after an incredibly long hiatus with The Vanguard in tow with 'Black Messiah.' Persuaded to return to performing by Questlove, 'Black Messiah' brings on something far from 'Brown Sugar' and 'Voodoo' but that's not a bad thing.
