The Famiglia Cotarella 2019 Ferentano Cotarella makes good use of this indigenous variety to show the potential found within Italy's vast genetic patrimony. This expression from 2019 is the best I have tasted so far. The wine shows beautiful clarity and density with a slightly off-gold appearance. With apricot, chopped nut and savory herb, it covers the palate in a steady and complete manner. Compared to the 2018 vintage that I tasted at the same time, this wine from 2019 offers even more depth and richness."
