Item: Set of 8 Dinner or Cabinet Plates Make:  Wheeling Decorating Company (Wheeling, WV), Manufacturer of Blank Unknown Pattern: WHD2 Age: 1900-1962 Construction:  Porcelain W/ Etched 22K Gold Decoration Dimensions:  Each 1" Tall  x 10 3/4" Diameter Condition:  Excellent pre-owned vintage condition.  No chips, cracks or crazing. Some minor spots of discoloration in the gold. Please see photos.  Details:  White porcelain plates with 2" wide etched gold border.  Etching is in a floral design, with narrow foliate garlands at inner and outer rims and stylized aster or carnations and ferns. Fine Arabesque scrolls between floral design components. Marked on the back of each with Wheeling Decorating Co.'s gold diamond-shaped logo, reading "WHEELING DECORATING CO W VA GLASS CHINA".
