Item: Mesh Bag Make: Whiting & Davis (North Attleboro, MA) Model: Floral Enameled Metal Mesh Bag Age: 1920-1929 Construction: Enameled Metal Mesh Dimensions:  12" Long x 3 1/2" Wide (6" drop on chain handle) Condition:  Very good pre-owned vintage condition.  Frame, mesh and handle chain in very good condition.  No lining.  Some loss of enamel. Details:  Bag composed of metal mesh comprising tiny metal "tiles" connected by metal rings, suspended from an angular frame with gently curved edges. Kiss clasp. Some Arabesque scrolling decoration on frame.  Bag has crenelated bottom edge.  Enamel has a white background with a cluster of pink roses near center of bag, trimmed around edges in dark green.  Metal Whiting & Davis label/tag attached to frame inside.
