Calendula has been a prized herbal remedy for centuries, recorded even as far back as the ancient Egyptian and Indian civilizations. For skin problems, calendula works to reduce inflammation and promotes healthy tissue regeneration and fast healing. It is antibacterial, antimicrobial, antiseptic, and antibiotic, so it’s great for all types of scrapes, cuts and rashes, including diaper rash! Calendula soothes and cools the inflammation from burns, bites, sores-including bedsores, eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, and even athlete’s foot and ringworm! So, when it came to making our healing salves, it’s no wonder that we knew we needed to make one from Calendula! Our salves are all natural and all homemade.
