Axle Nut (Rear) [Bus & Vanagon]

We offer two rear axle nuts—and while they both use a 46mm hex, that’s where the similarities end. You can buy the standard aftermarket version anywhere for about the same price. Or you can do it right (and do it once) with the GoWesty 100% stainless steel axle nut, complete with a stainless-steel cotter pin. Why go stainless?Take a look at that torque spec below. Yep—360 ft/lbs. Combine that massive torque with years of corrosion and… good luck getting the old one off without a torch. Been there, done that, never want to do it again.
