Rivet nuts are extremely handy little fasteners that allow you to add a threaded connection to sheet-metal where you don't have access to the backside for a traditional nut. The problem has always been getting them installed. The tools that did a good job were too expensive for a "one-and-done" home user, and the only affordable option left a bit to be desired in terms of fit, function, and affordability. Not to mention they would not install anything bigger than a 1/4" or 6mm rivet nut. Well, those dark days are over!
