Normal model of the female hemipelvis was created by co-registering muscles and nerves from an MRI and contrast-enhanced CT angiogram in a 53-year-old female undergoing imaging for diagnostic purposes. The model represents the right hemipelvis, L5 vertebrae, sacrum, right hip, right femur, psoas muscle, iliacus muscle, piriformis muscle, obturator internus, and muscles of the female pelvic floor, including the levator ani muscles and coccygeus muscle. The lumbosacral plexus is represented in yellow, including the nerves forming the sciatic nerve posteriorly and the L4 nerve root becoming the femoral nerve anteriorly. Arterial vascularity is represented in red, including the common iliac artery, which branches into the internal and external iliac artery that extends inferiorly, becoming the femoral artery. The venous vascularity is represented in blue.
