The Simpson Strong-Tie PDPA-200 .157 Dia x 2-Inch PDPA 1M is a hardened-steel, powder-actuated fastener designed for securely fastening building components to concrete, steel, and CMU (Concrete Masonry Unit). It features a 0.300"-diameter head and a 0.157"-diameter shank. Key Features: Fastener designed for maximum jobsite productivity with fast installation. Code-listed per ICC-ES ESR-2138, Florida FL15730, and LA RR25469. Compatible with Simpson Strong-Tie® powder-actuated tool systems and other common tools. Mechanically galvanized (PDPA-MG models) for additional corrosion protection. Suitable for concrete, steel, and CMU applications. Manufactured with tight tolerances for superior performance. Shank diameter of 0.157" provides greater compressive strength. Can be used in A36 and A572 Grade 50 structural steel (red strip load recommended). The fastener may penetrate through steel.
