Strawberries are among the easiest fruit to grow. The plants can tolerate the cold, so plant them in very early spring for a good late spring harvest.  You can plant them at any time though, and expect a good yield the following year.  We have two types: Junebearing produce the largest fruit and heaviest yield but in a shorter window of a few weeks in late May in our area. Everbearing produce smaller fruit but through a much longer period, throughout late spring and summer.  Which one is best? We recommend a few of each, so that you have a really good harvest during “strawberry season” to enjoy, but still get stragglers throughout the summer.  Lifecycle: Perennial Sun Requirements: Full to Part Sun
