ABOUT THIS PRODUCT DermaHarmony Cinnamon Oatmeal bars are a made in a smaller batch process and hand poured into molds.  Soda ash occurs on the top (curved side) of the bar. This is a natural reaction of unsaphonified lye reacting with carbon dioxide in the air.  The result is thin white layer that is perfectly safe to use. We don't bevel the edges and prefer the rustic look of the bar - variations in appearance and texture are normal and come from ash of roasted plant materials.
