This spessartite garnet is from Loliondo, Tanzania and weighs 1.92 Carats. It is cut into a rectangular cushion that measures 8 x 6mm and is very clean for this material with some very minor "sugar" inclusions. The color is a neon orange that just glows. This was cut from some older rough and i haven't seen much production of this material lately. If you have been looking for a neon spessartite at a reasonable price this is the one!
