An open heart chakra is essential for expressing love, both to yourself and others. There are many different types of love, including spiritual love, also called unconditional love. When the heart chakra is blocked, we can find it difficult to show unconditional love  to ourselves and others. We can become judgmental and have an inner monologue telling us we are undeserving of love or that love doesn't exist.  When blocked, the heart chakra can have an effect on the physical body as well. It can effect issues of the heart and lungs. While lifestyle choices and genetics do play a role in these physical issues, a blocked heart chakra can aid the damage being done.  This blend was named after God, the holy spirit, because God is love. Whenever I have felt low and burned out, I've been outside crying out to God, angry, asking why. In these times I would feel a gentle wind blow across my body that calmed me, I've come to know this is the Holy Spirit calming me, letting me know it will be ok
