This index plate features a large diameter center hole for easiest indexing of your bellhousing. It also is cut to fit the front plate design of the T56, so you can easily fit this on the back of the bellhousing while working with the engine in the car. This will also work for both GM and Ford versions. It will eliminate the need to remove the front cover of the transmission for bell housing alignment.
