It builds on the original formula known for feel and response, adding extra bite while keeping the same mildly abrasive surface as Tour Mako Teal and Silver. The edges are moderate, similar to Alpha and Tour Sniper, for controlled grip and stability. Tour Mako is our latest development for 2024/2025. Following the success of Tour M8 and the use of novel materials in Paradox Pro, we decided to combine their biggest individual strengths into one string. Mako is stable, consistent, durable and reliable, as Tour M8. And just like Paradox Pro, it utilizes new additives to increase playability and feel. These additives are new to the tennis string industry, and, unlike Paradox Pro, they are non-metallic. They aid in feel, durability and provide Tour Mako with a mildly abrasive surface.
