Swamp Clivia. An extremely rare, newly discovered species, Clivia robusta is very similar to Clivia gardenii with tubular orange flowers and yellow or green highlights. This species tolerates wet conditions by growing a root buttress to hold it out of soggy conditions.  Fascinating! Larger than P. gardenii, this is a very easy, fast-growing species that thrives in shady areas outside or as a lovely, evergreen houseplant. Like most Clivia, a cool, dry rest in the winter will ensure good blooming in the spring. (Amaryllidaceae) Clivia are only found naturally in southern Africa and beloved as houseplants all around the world.
