Merlot Sea Salt

Merlot Sea Salt - This is a fabulous fusion of Pacific Sea salt and merlot wine. It is wonderful addition to sauces, gravies, salsas and relishes in place of regular salt. It is particularly useful as a finishing salt, adding a fresh grind to the top of fish, chicken, meat or vegetables with a subtle hint of merlot wine flavor. We use it in our New York “Red Sauce”. You can use this to add to sauces and gravies that use both salt and red wine, like in beef or chicken stews, or tomato sauces. Use this as a finishing salt (add to the food as you serve it) to salads, tomato or beef soups.
