Valentine's Date Night Mug Shot | Sat Feb 14th 5pm-8pm

Looking for a date night that's creative, hilarious, and totally unforgettable? In this playful pottery class, couples will work opposite each other to build mugs from clay slabs - then sculpt each other's faces right onto them!  Guided by our instructor, you'll learn the basics of slab construction, simple sculpting techniques, and how to capture your partner's unique features in clay (the sillier, the better!) Once your "mug shot" is complete, you'll use colorful underglazes to bring your creation to life with personality and flair.  No pottery experience is needed - just bring your sense of humor and a willingness to get a little messy! After class we'll fire and finish your mugs so they're food-safe and ready to enjoy at home.  Hand-building is a method of clay construction using coils, slabs, pinching, or sculpting techniques to form the clay.
