Stock 690 APTC Adler slipper clutches are a fantastic piece of gear for a stock bike. When you start to tinker with the motor and increase the torque to the clutch their design weakness become apparent, they don't grip. A standard 690 with one of our big bore kits and a cam will smoke the clutch out of it in no time flat. This fantastic product from Rekluse is good for about 20% more motor output with no slipping! Rekluse's TorqDrive Clutch Replacement Kit for your 690 is a complete redesign from what you're used to. The TorqDrive increased the number of friction disks over your stock set up affording you more consistent clutch actuation and torque. The kit also includes hardened sleeves that slide onto your stock clutch basket and protects from notching caused by the clutch plates slamming into the clutch hub when the clutch is engaged.
