Flank Steak (sometimes mistaken for Skirt Steak - it's not) is a lean and incredibly flavorful cut of beef. If you've had tough or chewy Flank Steak, you've had an overcooked piece of meat. Flank Steak can be wonderfully tender, but requires high-heat cooking; a killer marinade will help give you a little bit of buffer, and lots of additional flavor too. Spoonful of Flavor has an amazingly quick weeknight recipe for Flank Steak that comes together in less than 20 minutes, doesn't require you to fire up the grill, and is, of course, absolutely delicious - we love it with some veggies from our farmers market and neighbor farms!
