Swivel Fitting

Product Description This swivel fitting prevents hose stress due to twisting during installation and makes installation easier.  Without this fitting, the entire hose must be rotated to thread the hose into the bearing, which can be difficult with longer hoses or hoses with complicated routing. This fitting is compatible with the 1/8″ NPTM thread on the bearing end of our grease extension hoses and is installed between the hose and bearing or between the hose and thread adapter.  See our how it works page for a drawing showing this swivel fitting as part of our grease extension hose system Please note: this fitting swivels only during installation. Once fully tightened, it becomes rigid and will not rotate during use. Its purpose is to simplify installation—not to act as a live swivel during operation.
