      This classic Sadler cube teapot has a beautiful bouquet design of flowers with one big pink rose in the center of the bouquet and is trimmed out with 22k gold on the emboss design feature, all hand painted. The James Sadler and Sons Ltd company was a pottery manufacturer in Stoke-On-Trent, United Kingdom and was founded in 1882 and ended in 2000 when the company went into receivership. The Churchill China Company purchased all of the right to the brand name and designs from the James Sadler and Sons Ltd Company. The Sadler Company first made the “Brown Betty” teapots using terracotta clay and finishing the teapots with a transparent glaze. They began making earthenware novelty shaped teapots in the 1930. There are many variations of this ribbon hallmark from 1930 to 2000. The hallmark on this teapot was started in 1937 and ended in 1947.
