This is a Royal Albert saucer that was made in the 1920s and the pattern has been discontinued. I have had this packed away for more than 30 years. I bought it in the early 1980s, unfortunately when I unpack it, I found that the cup was broken. (So sad) This saucer was made by the T.C. Wild & Sons Co.  in Staffordshire, England. The word “Royal” was given in recognition to an individual or companies, for loyal services to the Royal Crown of England (in this case it was Queen Mary) for at least 5 years of quality craftsmanship or service to the Royal family. Which was a great honor at that time. The T.C. Wild & Sons Co. Bone China was admired for its lightness, translucency, and its soft subtle almost pearly white quality. This saucer is in mint condition with no danage, repairs, or flaws. The scallop edge is finish with gold along with gold in the design on the inside saucer pattern, which is probably 22k gold. It is in mint condition with no cracks, chips, necks, fleabite
