(Triticum aestivum); Heritage; Soft White Winter; Awnletted; Fall-planted; Minimum 50 seeds Developed in 1969 in Oregon, reportedly Yamhill tolerates wet soils. We have not found this true here in southeast Michigan. I believe it better suited to a drier location out West. With acceptable milling and baking qualities, Yamhill's best trait is its strong straw that resists lodging. Limited quantity - only 1 pack per person. I will only ship one pack and will refund the additional packs. Why the limit? To allow as many growers as possible to enjoy this cultivar.
