Beginning Crochet

Three Session Classes, 1 1/2 Hour Each Three Sessions, 1 1/2 Hour Each with HollyHappy 2026!!  Good news for those starting off the New Year with a new fiber adventure.  At Great Yarns we've expanded and extended our Beginning Crochet series so that new knitters will build a foundation that will help them to move forward in a confident, skill-based way.  Each Beginning series will include three sessions instead of two, and we'll offer subsequent classes that build upon your skills in a logical way.     Here's what our Beginning Series includes: Session One: Foundation Chain Single, Double, and Half Double Crochet Explanation of Terms Session Two: Ending a Project  Trouble-shooting Problems Weaving in Ends Triple Crochet and Combinations of Stitches Reading a simple Pattern Session Three: Working in the Round Increasing in a flat project Ravelry Overview Next Steps Projects will be a simple dishcloth, a cozy cowl, and a set of coasters.  All materials are included, which means: T
