Rug Hooking with Yarn

In this two part class with Susan Snider, we will go beyond traditional rug hooking to explore using yarns, roving, dyed locks, beads, fabric, sculpting and hooking techniques to make one-of-a-kind art pieces. This class will take place on Saturdays, January 24th and 31st, from 12-3 PM on each day. Session One will be an introduction to the craft. Session Two will include finishing options. A frame and hook will be available for loan during class with option to buy. Students can take home the frame and hook between classes. There is a minimum of 3 and maximum of 8. The fee for the class includes the cost of the kit with materials and linen sampler required for class.
