Bobkat'65 – The Lonely Road [YELLOW VINYL] – New LP
I'm not sure what "Teenbeat Kiddie Garage" refers to, maybe some tag they use in Europe or maybe something others know about from reading about 1960s music...I never do much reading about music even though people probably figure otherwise... but this is a knockout combo of the best sounds from the 1960s...girl group, bubblegum, American garage, British Invasion...low budget stuff that ended up on Scopitone machines and dinky labels from America and from other countries...the end result stunning, great as a birthday cake, the band full of sugar and good taste, exploring different tones, tempos, moods and styles to keep it interesting and a complete joy from go to whoa. I had this on CD and thought it was thoroughly enjoyable but not really striking, but listening to the vinyl, I've come to love this recording. It's like Bazooka bubblegum kisses on a warm beach. -- winchBobkat'65 - This Lonely Road by Bobkat'65 Spanish trio! The debut album by the Asturias (ES) power trio combine
