Originally released on the Solar label and out of print for many years."Show Album No.1 by THE HAPPY DOLLS This features an odd mix of songs, opening with "Hello Dolly" where deep in the song, one of the girls does her Louis Armstrong vocals!  Then we have a great version of Average White Band's instrumental funk classic "Pick Up the Pieces" (from the funk of Black America to Scotland, from Scotland to Korea/Canada!).  We also have a cover of the soul hit "Misty Blue,"  which is quite good, the lead vocalists sounding like she's struggling a bit with English but she and the back up singers showing they can do more than just play instruments--they can sing!  We also have a drum solo song (she not only shreds: she drums).  The set also have KC's "Shake Your Booty" and ends with a return to the funk with a version of Kool &a
