On March 21st, we're getting hands-on with the maintenance side of habitat gardening: managing leaves and debris to support ground-nesting bees, leaving stems the right way for cavity nesters, zoning your yard into a "landscape mullet" that satisfies the neighbors and the pollinators, and keeping a bird bath clean and functional through the season. These are the skills that turn a garden with good intentions into one that actually works.
