Velvet Scrunchies

$5 each One way I'm trying to be greener is by de-stashing my fabric collection.  During my many years as a costumer, I accumulated a huge quantity of usable scraps - pieces too small to make costumes out of, but too big for my thrifty and eco-conscious self to throw away.  So to cut down on my own waste, I'm always on the hunt for things I can make out of fabric scraps that aren't 100% cotton or otherwise suitable for GREENER products.   Case in point: after building dozens upon dozens of velvet elf costumes in a variety of gorgeous jewel tones, I really had no choice but to start making giant scrunchies like the ones I loved as a teenager out of the scraps.  I mean, they just make my GenX heart so happy. Color options and availability will change as my scrap supply dwindles, so get these velvet scrunchies while they last!
