This plant eats flies and gets its nourishment from being a carnivore plant, so no need to fertilize! If you have a fruit fly problem or fungus gnats, this is the plant for you! Venus Fly Traps are easy to grow in the correct conditions, which differ compared to most indoor houseplants. The soil of the plant must always remain moist  Size: 4" pot  Light: Direct light  Water: Keep soil constantly wet  Considerations: These plants can go dormant in winter months when plant is not receiving long periods of direct light. The leaves will die off but the plant is still alive under the soil. Artificial light like a grow light can be used to keep plant from going dormant.
