Snowy Field Silhouette

I was almost face first in the snow with the camera perhaps a foot above the snow in order to capture the long shadows of this back-lit bush covered in frost.  In addition I was suffering from altitude sickness at the time. Get the shot - no matter what.  If your not willing to sacrifice in situations like this then I would say your are not a true photographer. I have been in comprising situations that I would have never put myself in if it wasn't for the fact that I saw a the potential for a good photograph.  Things rarely wait until you are ready to photograph them.  You have to be ready when the opportunity presents itself.
