The Hamilton That Inspired The Design Of One Of The Most Coveted Watches From An American Independent Watchmaker That Was A Mouthful. DESCRIPTION In a recent Video from entrepreneur and legendary watch YouTuber, Teddy Baldassarre,  He looked into the collection of American Master Watchmaker, Roland Murphy. There were a lot of American classics in that collection, including a few from Roland's own company, RGM, An American Independent where Roland shows his true artisanship as a master watchmaker with beautifully decorated watches with an American aesthetic.  One of the RGM's he revealed, was something special. How the story goes, as explained in the video, Roland wanted to give a watch to his father to celebrate the launch of his first production watches of RGM. He did not want to give away the actual first production watches since he needed the profits to keep the company afloat. He instead got an old Hamilton watch case and created an RGM Dial, Hands, and movement for the watch. N
