Scrap Scarf #004

Reversible heavy weight scarf featuring sage yarn, orange and yellow fibers, deconstructed ribbon, and small knit tubes that have been curled and placed along lime green mesh and tan lace. Scarf edge and quick-tie holes have been hand bound with smooth cotton brown yarn. Scarves feature quick-tie holes with a hand bound finish to compliment the techniques used to edge them. All scarves have a screen printed one of a kind gremlin tooth patch hand finished by Suz. Scraps materials are sourced from previous and current projects coinciding with the collection. Materials that comprise these scarves are quilted together using a chaos rainbow of thread and include natural and synthetic fibers. These scarves are made in an effort to use materials seen as waste by exploring experimental processing techniques. All pieces of original art include a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) signed and dated by Ash and Suz.
