Sunshine Yellow - Merino Wool/Silk Blend Roving

I am very excited to introduce this beautiful Merino Wool/Silk Blend roving to the shop! This roving is 70% extra fine merino wool and 30% tussah silk. The merino is 19 microns, and the silk is combed sliver. Merino wool is a beautiful material to work with and is known for its softness and gentle sheen, and the silk in this blend gives it an extra lustrous look and feel. It has many uses in fiber and textile art such as needle felting, wet felting, nuno felting, spinning, weaving, and arm/giant knitting.This color is Sunshine, a warm yellow with fibers varying in color range from white to golden yellow throughout. This listing is for 1 oz., which is the amount shown in the photograph.
