Summer Floral Meadow

This is an original needle felted summer-inspired meadow landscape framed in a wood embroidery hoop. This piece was created by needle felting bits of colored wool onto a sheet of pure wool felt, and then stretching the finished work into a circular wood frame. Some of the felted elements are raised from the surface in relief, while other are more flush with the surface of the felt, adding a variety of textures and visual interest to the final work. Piece is sealed on back with paper and is signed by Erin Gardner Measures 4" diameter.
