HW group UPS 12V backup power source

The UPS 12V is a compact backup power supply for devices requiring 12 V DC. It provides a regulated 12 V output up to 1.5 A and includes a built-in relay output to signal external power loss. The unit is compatible with all HW group devices powered by 12 V adapters. Use Case While UPS systems are common in IT and household environments, small 12 V-powered devices (e.g., PBXs, monitoring units, control systems) are typically backed up using inefficient 230 V UPS solutions. The UPS 12V offers a dedicated, low-power alternative with minimal installation overhead. During a power outage, the internal battery supplies 12 V to the load and opens the signal relay to indicate power loss. Once power is restored, the relay closes and the battery recharges.
