
LoRa Wireless Cabinet Thermal Mapping Sensor
The LoRa™ Cabinet Thermal Mapping Sensor is a dual temperature and humidity sensor that supports the monitoring of data center cabinets/ racks. With the external LoRa antenna, the sensor is able to broadcast up to 250 meter indoors and up to 10 km in open space. For best placement of the sensors the unit is available with the options of a 3-sensor cable or 6-sensor cable. Both options provide monitoring of the temperature and humidity of the top, middle, bottom, front, and rear of the cabinet. The 6-sensor version also allows for tracking the inlet and exhaust air temperature as well as the front to rear temperature differentials. When connected to the L-DCIM gateway (sold separately), the user is able to easily identify any hotspots or potential risk areas in real-time. The AKCPro software provides data tracking as well as customized alerts when parameters are outside the specified range. A technician is able to remotely monitor the devices with a tablet or desktop. The device is powered by 4 internal batteries and is guaranteed a 10-year life-span when broadcasting every 15 minutes. The device also provides an external micro-USB power source, leaving the batteries for back-up support.
