The PCAN-Wireless Gateway DR connects different CAN busses over IP networks, providing two high-speed CAN interfaces and one WLAN connection. CAN frames can be wrapped in TCP or UDP message packets and are forwarded through the IP net from one device to another. With a DIN rail casing and support of extended temperature ranges, the PCAN Wireless Gateway DR is suitable for industrial environments. The device's web interface will provide a variety of status information including the device settings, communication interfaces, and message routing. This gateway product requires 2 TCP connections, so a client socket and server socket is needed on each side of a pairing.
