5" x 2" Phenolic V-Groove Wheel Rigid Brake Caster - Part # 146LPV520RB Phenolic wheels are a great alternative to steel wheels. Phenolic wheels give you similar capacities to steel wheels, however, they provide better floor protection, slightly quieter rolling, do not rust, & are more economically priced. Phenolic wheels are made using phenolic resin mixed with macerated canvas which yields a high capacity and high impact wheel. They have hard treads & will not flat spot over time which is why they are often used on equipment that is under constant heavy loads, such as storage bins, dumpsters & BBQ Pits. Phenolic wheels are resistant to oil, grease, solvents, non-metallic & non-sparking. *Please note temperature ratings are dependent upon the bearing selected.
