Hot Chili Infused Wildflower Honey

Our wildflower honey comes from the famous Carrizo Plain open grassland area of east San Luis Obispo County. We have hand-infused this wonderful honey with Habanero, Serrano and Aleppo chilies in small batches to add a tasty heat. The hotness is subtle at first taste and builds slightly to finish with a spicy kick! We love finishing some sautéed rainbow carrots with paprika, GP flake sea salt & this hot honey atop a bed of creamy ricotta. Use anywhere that a bit of sweet heat will enhance the flavor of a dish: drizzle on pizza, fried chicken, roasted vegetables, grilled shrimp or ribs.
